What Custom flight helmets do and who we are?

We are a small dynamic team of aviation professionals working all around the flight helmets and flight gears, selling, repairing, upgrading, refurbishing customizing new and used one for pilots and companies around the world. We develop new solutions, technology, unique custom made product as flight helmet, helmet visor, flight gears, flight bags, and much more.

We are always working on new exciting aviation projects that you can’t find in any other place around the world and we are very happy to support the innovative project and the people pushing the aviation envelope as we are doing every day.

Where is Custom flight helmet located?

Custom flight helmet FZE is located in the UAE but work all around the world supplying pilots with custom made products, flight helmet, and flight gear.

Do you have a physical shop, can a customer visit you?

We don’t have a physical shop. We work with customers around the world online using different connection methods depending on the project we are developing.

Customers are always welcome to visit us in the UAE with a previous contact and agreement on the visit timing.

Which aviation sector and pilots do custom flight helmets serve?

We are serving both civil and military pilots and organizations around the world repairing, refurbishing, customizing, upgrading flight helmets and flight gear, no matter what kind of plane our customer flies.

I love your flight helmets, how can I discuss and start my project with Custom flight helmets?

Each project and customer is unique for us. We invite each customer to contact us via mail or through social media to discuss ideas, needs, and problems they may face.

We deal openly and honestly with each customer evaluating the possibilities available and proposing solutions that can fit each customer need.

Where all these awesome designs I see are coming from?

Each design is custom made for each client, there are not two helmets equal one to each other. The design is coming from an initial idea from the customer input based on the preferences, requested color combination or the taste.

The design process is a delicate phase that needs patience and understanding to finalize and capture all of the details.

I have great ideas for my custom-made flight gear, how does the customization process work?

The customization process is divided into 6 stages from start to finish and has a different cost depending on the level you want to achieve with your project. Please refer to the “customization page” to better understand how it works and what to expect.

How long does it take to have my flight helmet repaired, refurbished and upgraded?

Depending on the work that needs to be done, it could take up to 7 weeks but since every project and customer is unique for us, we can’t generalize and we do our best to have a fast turnaround to be able to match your deadlines for every project we do.

What happens if I have a deadline for a custom-made helmet, flight gear or a complex project?

We ask our customers to share much information as possible from the early stage of each project so we can start to order and plan ahead all of the steps needed to complete the work in time. If your project has a strict deadline, it's vital that you share this information with us from the first contact to avoid unnecessary delays. We will be transparent with our customers regarding the time needed to complete the work. We will do our best to find a solution that works for both parties. Sometimes we will refuse a job in case we deem there is not enough time to complete then miss an important tight deadline. Despite our effort to meet each deadline, we cannot be responsible for any delay created by the chosen courier or the shipment method you select either on the inbound or outbound goods to/from our warehouse.

Where are your custom products made?

We are constantly scanning the worldwide market for new products and ideas to be implemented in all our product line. We remain close to our Italian roots as we are aware of the quality, style, craftsmanship and existing capabilities available in that country.

Do I need to set up an account to complete an order on the Custom flight helmets shop?

You can complete a purchase as a guest. 

However, creating an account allows you to store your shipping information, see order history, and view your product’s warranty information, Save your cart with the product stored or add to a wishlist the products you may need to order in the near future.

What is the currency you are using on the website?

To simplify the use of the website and the customer experience during the product purchase, all prices for quotation and for all items on sale on the cfhelmets website are calculated in US dollars.

When will my credit card be charged after any purchase?

If you elect to complete your purchase with this method, your credit card will be charged within 24 hours from the time you place your order.

Do you store my credit card information?

Only order history and shipping address are stored in your account. Your credit card information will not be stored.

Do you offer a gift card to be spent on multiple purchases?

Yes, we do, if you are looking for a special gift but you are not sure about the correct sizing, the color, the model or setup, you can purchase a gift card that you will receive via mail a personal code that will enable the entitled gift card owner to make multiple purchases equal to the gift card value on the Custom flight helmets shop.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

If you have a special occasion to celebrate, we can wrap your items and include a card with your personal message. The option is available during checkout for an additional $5.

How do I modify or cancel an order?

Please contact our support team at customercare@cfhelmets.com immediately if you would like to make any changes to your order and we will be pleased to assist you.

Is it possible to re-open an order that had been canceled?

It is not possible to re-open cancelled orders. You need to use the portal www.cfhelmets.com to submit the order request again. We suggest you keep track of the products you may need and to add them to your wishlist for future reference.

Do you offer discounts on custom made products for an association, flight teams, bulk orders etc.?

Each project we take is unique but if you are planning a bulk order on our website or you want to reserve a special discount for your flying group, flight team, association…etc. Contact us and we will be happy to work an ad-hoc solution fitting your needs issuing a proposal or a dedicated personal discount code.

My order is late, what can I do?

Due to the nature of Manufacturing, the suppliers involved, to complete each custom project, the final product can sometimes take longer than expected, which may result in delays in receiving your order. In these cases, we'll make sure to keep you updated and immediately email you with the new estimated shipping date and the reason for delay. 

If you miss our notification or have any questions, please reach out to us at customercare@cfhelmets.com 

Important note: Due to customs inspection or extra documentation that could be required at the destination country the shipping of your custom-made product could be delayed. In these cases, please follow the instructions on the tracking link to connect with the carrier and clarify the status of your delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

We have contracts in place with different worldwide couriers and we are able to ship all around the world at good rates, please let us know at customercare@cfhelmets.com if you need a shipping quotation or if you are thinking to ship your helmet or flight gear to us for maintenance and any other work you may require, we will give you full guidance in order to contain all your shipping costs and associated custom duties.

When and how I will get my shipping tracking information?

We will email you the tracking information for your shipment once your order leaves our warehouse.

What happens in the case of a backorder?

In case the item you purchased is out of stock or we can’t fulfill the quantity you have purchased at the time you made the order, we will send you an email and offer you the chance to have a backorder, with an expected revised delivery date, an alternative product if available, a partial shipment of the items readily available or a possible refund. We will keep you updated on the order status via mail and all your messages are welcome at customercare@cfhelmets.com

Can I combine the shipping costs for my orders?

If you have placed multiple orders or you are willing to add a new order to the one just made, please contact us promptly and we will make our best effort to review the situation and offer a new shipping date.

I have not received my parts. What can I do?

If you have not received your custom-made parts, helmet or flight gears by the estimated delivery date stated on the courier tracking page please reach out to customercare@cfhelmets.com so we can check the status of your order with the designed shipping courier and take the necessary actions needed to rectify the situation. Sometimes there could be the need for supplementary documents for Customs clearance and no notice has been sent neither to the customer to us, we invite our customers to contact us at the earliest convenience. 

Please note that Custom flight helmets FZ is not responsible for delays caused by the specific shipping provider (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc).

There is damage, flaw, or size is wrong - how do I initiate a return?

To initiate any return, please contact us at customercare@cfhelmets.com. We ask you to include in your mail your product’s serial number, a short description of the flaw or fault, few pictures, and the full return shipping address. We will evaluate your case and we will issue a returns authorization email. To return an item it should be packed properly Custom flight helmets could provide guidance on specific packing instructions the returning item should be in the original packaging.

How could I report a website issue or fault?

If you’ve encountered a technical issue on www.cfhelmets.com or during your web surfing experience, please report it to customercare@cfhelmets.com and we’ll make sure it gets resolved as soon as possible. Please include: 

  • A screenshot of the error if possible 
  • The exact URL where you experienced the issue 
  • A detailed description of what caused the error
  • Your browser and operating system.
